My stay at Lord Street was a mixed bag. The lovely pub-style accommodation lacked breakfast options, which wasn't ideal given the price paid for a short stay. However, the place was clean and situated nicely. The friendly staff made up for some of the shortcomings. Overall, it's a spot to consider if you're looking for budget lodging in Southport.
